“Football, bloody hell” exclaimed Alex Ferguson as Manchester United came back to win the 1999 Champions League, scoring two goals in injury time against the indomitable Bayern Munich. Jamie Vardy is one of the most underrated strikers in the world constantly playing on the shoulder of the world's greatest defenders and causing havoc. He plies his trade for Leicester City, a club most of the world hadn't heard of prior to 2015, the year they completed the greatest Cinderella story in sports history by winning the Premier League title.
Super League Dead.
The proposed Super League, an elitist replacement of the Champions League, died a quick death today. I outline the details of the Super League, the failure of it to gain buy-in and momentum and what needs to come next.

The fashion, style and substance of soccer players and supporters in the 80's and 90's was something similar to a move. Absolutely magical. This is a real life story of my first hand experience in such an atmosphere.
